Jeremy’s journey began at one of the country’s largest top-tier firms and his experience includes senior roles at a well-known entrepreneurial advisory firm, where he advised companies throughout various stages of their life cycle. Today, Jeremy is known for his deep expertise in capital raising, M&A, and general commercial law, with a particular focus on advising start-ups and scale-ups.  

At the heart of Jeremy’s practice is a commitment to supporting emerging businesses through all stages of their growth journey. Jeremy has worked with early-stage and later stage founders, assisting with the establishment, commercialisation, and growth of new ventures.

 

He also genuinely understands the commercial challenges businesses face (as separate to his role at MLA he assumes a number of operational and advisory board roles). His expertise in corporate and commercial law and general business acumen has helped his clients navigate complex issues with confidence. 

 

As a champion of Australia’s start-up community, Jeremy has developed a robust network of startups, advisors and investors. He is an expert in capital raising activities, regularly advising on angel and VC funding rounds as well as crowd funds. In addition to capital raising and M&A, Jeremy also provides legal and strategic counsel on:
